To be eligible for a cosmetic tattooing session, you must be at least 18 years old. Individuals currently taking acne medication, such as Accutane, are not eligible for treatment. If you have previously used Accutane, you must have discontinued it for at least 12 months before your appointment.

This procedure is strictly not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, have been diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, or are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapy.

Please note that the use of retinol or medicated skincare products may affect your treatment and healed results. To ensure optimal results, discontinue the use of retinol at least four weeks before your cosmetic tattooing session.

For clients with previous freckle tattoos, the procedure must have been performed at least one year before your booking. Additionally, the pigment should have significantly faded. Freckle tattooing lasts anywhere between 8 months to 2 years before it starts to fade and you need a colour boost, it really depends on your skin, lifestyle and maintenance.

The treatment is quite comfortable as we are working on a small area. Redheads, blondes and fair skin types may experience more swelling and redness than normal skin types. On a scale of 1-10, the pain level usually is around a 1 to 2.

Depending on how many freckles you’d like, usually less than 1-2 hours.
